January Music Review

Okay, it is now the end of January and therefore time to look back and reflect on my January musical obsessions, discoveries and guilty pleasures. Of course, when looking at this list it is quite apparent that none of these songs are from January 2008. Of course, I never promised that either... I have a job which gets in the way of actively tracking new music with that degree of dedication [note to self: if the internet was around in its current incarnation when I was in university I would have (a) attended class and studied even less frequently, and (b) been able to seriously indulge a Rob Fleming-style music obsession (note: this is different than a Musical obsession, which is something my Dad has)].

So, here's a list of songs I should have been obsessing about in 2007 but either did not know about them until the end of 2007 / early 2008, or that were released too late in 2007 to develop a full blown obsession.... Track these down, listen and enjoy (all now available on iTunes). You won't be disappointed.
